GUI Options Reference
The User Manual documents the controls available through the CMPS GUI. Each technical option is described by its current default or availability, mathematical/physical meaning, effect on the simulation, practical guidance, and a Theory reference to the corresponding formulation.

Automatic availability and case-dependent controls
GUI availability. CMPS does not expose every field for every case. The visible controls depend on the active material/EOS set, flow formulation, zone type, boundary type, turbulence/multiphase/species models, and steady/transient mode. Compressible/incompressible status is derived automatically from material/EOS and VOF composition; boundary panels expose the data required by the selected boundary closure; model-specific fields appear only when their corresponding physics is active. An option marked Automatic is derived from the current case definition rather than being an independent physics switch.
About defaults
Defaults in this manual are the current verified values shown or used by the CMPS GUI/options. A software default is not a claim that the value is optimal for every case; sensitivity depends on Mach number, Reynolds number, mesh quality, stiffness, active physics, and the quantity of interest.
